Rude Community Guidelines

At Rude, we encourage honest and direct communication. However, there's a line between being straightforward and being harmful. These guidelines help ensure our community remains a space for authentic connections without crossing into abusive territory.

Rude is for:

  • Adults 18+ looking for platonic connections

  • Direct and honest communication

  • Expressing opinions freely (even unpopular ones)

Rude is NOT for:

  1. Illegal Activities

       • No promotion of illegal substances or activities

       • No solicitation of minors or sharing of content related to minors

   2. Harassment and Abuse

       • No targeted harassment, stalking, or repeated unwanted contact

       • No threats of violence or encouraging self-harm

       • No hate speech or discrimination based on protected characteristics

   3. Sexual Content

       • No nudity or pornographic material

       • No solicitation for sexual services

       • Keep sexual comments to a minimum - this is for platonic connections

   4. Authenticity

       • No impersonation of others

       • No deliberately misleading profile information

       • One account per person

   5. Privacy and Safety

       • Don't share others' private information without consent

       • No doxxing or threats to expose private information

   6. Spam and Scams

       • No commercial solicitation or promotional content

       • No phishing or attempts to scam other users

   7. Intellectual Property

       • Respect copyrights and trademarks

   8. Platform Integrity

       • No attempts to manipulate the platform's algorithms or functionality

Remember, being "rude" doesn't mean being cruel or abusive. It’s an ironic name chosen to imply that you are what you are (according to our Terms & Conditions and Guidelines) but never be rude. We encourage direct communication, but always with respect for others' boundaries and well-being. Violations of these guidelines may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans at Rude's discretion.

If you encounter behaviour that violates these guidelines, please report it. We take user reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
